i feel like everyone’s forgotten some Covid basics so please let me remind you:

• Your mask protects others more than it protects you
• You can still spread covid even if you’re vaccinated or not showing any symptoms
• The more this spreads around, the more mutated variants of the virus will appear and they WILL be stronger than the original

so like maybe stop being a little bitch and endangering others because you really, really needed to go out to dinner or get fucked up at a bar instead of in your home like a respectable person

hey guys, i didn’t realize this post had blown up, but please stop reblogging it. while i believe everyone should continue acting as if they have not been vaccinated–wearing masks, socially distancing–we don’t have enough information to know if any of the above is actually true and this is just fearmongering, and i sincerely apologize for that. from what i’ve read, the vaccine does potentially help reduce the shed of the virus, mutated strains will be different but not necessarily stronger, and the cloth masks that most people wear are not totally effective, though the idea of them is to protect others. i apologize for the misinformation in this post, and please stop spreading it around.
